UNIFORMS

Do all students wear uniforms?

Yes. All students must be in uniform to attend school in accordance with the SBCA Student Dress Code.

Where can I find the SBCA Student Dress Code?

The SBCA Student Dress Code can be found in the Prospective Packet and in the SBCA Student Handbook.

Can uniforms be purchased at any store?

The SBCA uniforms must be purchased through one of the vendors listed in the Prospective Packet.

FINANCIAL AID

Does SBCA offer Financial Aid?

We are pleased to offer financial aid to those families desiring an SBCA education, but are in need of some assistance. Our financial aid is more like a grant in that it does not need to be paid back at some future time.

How does a person apply for financial aid?

The application for financial aid may be obtained at the school office or on our website.

TRANSFERRING CREDITS

Do public schools accept SBCA transcripts?

In over 30 years of serving the South Bay community, the overwhelming majority of students who've enrolled in a public school have been able to transfer their SBCA credits to the receiving institution.

Are SBCA’s transcripts transferable to colleges and universities?

Yes. Registrars and admission departments of such institutions are primarily interested in the academic merits of individual students, rather than in their school of graduation. Thus they evaluate the applicant’s academic aptitude through nationally standardized tests. Our program is designed to properly train students who wish to continue their education beyond high school.
